ABOUT JOB

The sous chef is responsible for leading the kitchen team in the Chef’s absence. Should provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating. You must oversee and organize the kitchen stock and ingredients and also should be proactive to hire and train the new kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary science or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment and best practices.
  • Good understanding of ms office and restaurant software programs.
  • Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

ABOUT JOB

The line cook is responsible for preparing the food using the recipes and the menu items created by the head chef. You should be a team player and help run the kitchen smoothly.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of vocational school or a two-year associate degree.
  • At least one year of cooking experience.
  • Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong organization and active listening skills.
  • The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time.
  • Exceptional time management skills.

ABOUT JOB

The waiter/waitress should be responsible for taking and delivering customer orders. You should be able to recommend the popular items on the menu and should be the forefront in providing the best customer experience. The waiter/waitress should also be very efficient in taking orders while educating the customers about allergen information and serving the customers with the best experience. You should be proactive in giving checks and collecting payments.
